I WATCH HER

I am currently studying creative writing at Brunel University,
I plan to upload some of my work every now and then, just to give people something to read.

Below is a nonsense poem I submitted for my poetry module,
key word- NONSENSE!

"I Watch Her"

My lady lay in black, in bed.
Eyes that saw eyes that saw a gaze.
Doorways mask the eyes that peek.
Smiling happiness beaming rainbow joy.
Pleasant as a red rose with black petals.
Her beauty lay in bed; inside
not out.
Her nose fixed cute as a button upon the cardigan that is her face.
Hair is beautiful, as hers was.
Longer than a limousine, sun golden and soft.
To touch her essence was to taste the essence.
She is the everything to my nothing.
Mine to hold in arms always and never.
Still her beauty lay, as if a portrait resting in imagination’s womb.
Beauty lay, she slithers on sheets that subtly moan.
Light switches do as she does, eyes flickering.
I want her, to want my want indeed.
Forever and never she will forever remain, with me..
